This lemon myrtle ginger tea is both delicious to drink and good for you. Drawing inspiration from the classic lemongrass and ginger tea, Impala & Peacock have created a herbal tea with an unmistakably Australian twist - the vibrant addition of lemon myrtle tea. Crafted from organic ingredients, this infusion not only delights the palate but also boasts the immune-boosting benefits of lemon myrtle, adding zest and flavour to your cup.

While traditionally enjoyed hot, this herbal blend also shines as a refreshing iced tea, offering a cool and revitalizing alternative.

Both lemongrass and lemon myrtle have long been valued for their antimicrobial properties and their ability to soothe coughs and fevers. Supported by a systematic review of 109 randomized controlled trials in 2020, ginger (Zingiber officinale) emerges as a potent ally in reducing inflammation, addressing symptoms associated with illness.

Brew Guide

1 tsp to 200mL cup

100°C degree water temperature

4 min steep (the same leaf can be used for 2 infusions)

Iced Tea:

2 heaped teaspoons to 200mL cup

100° C, 10 min steep time

Add sweetener (sugar, agave, or honey) to taste while warm (but not hot)

Allow to cool and serve over ice with fresh fruit garnish.
