Wellness by PP Studio Membership

To ensure that Wellness by PP is able to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all members and staff there are conditions that need to be adhered to. The information outlined in these terms and conditions can and will be used in the event of a discrepancy.

Introduction

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you acknowledge and agree:
you are medically sound to undertake a normal course of exercise, you use the facilities at your sole risk and responsibility and you are aware that exercise is physically demanding and participation in some activities may pose a risk to your health; and
this agreement also relates to your authority to MINDBODY to directly debit the nominated bank account or credit card for any instalments or fees due under the terms and conditions of this Agreement and Direct Debit Request.

All memberships at Wellness by PP are a minimum 12-week commitment. Following this 12-week period if you would like to cancel your membership you will need to provide notice of cancellation in writing to Wellness by PP, otherwise your membership will automatically rollover week by week.

Membership Queries:

All queries and comments about the services provided should be directed to the contact detains on Wellness by PP website.

Studio Access:

All members must wait until the instructor allows them entry before entering the premises. This allows for safe entry and exist of the building and allows for social distancing. You must be registered for a class before entering the premises.
Entry to the studio may be refused as a result of unpaid or outstanding membership fees.


All members and instructors must adhere to Covid-19 regulations to ensure the wellbeing of all members. Wellness by PP is a space to look after your wellbeing, we ask that there is no discussion of Covid-19 with instructors and with other members while inside the studio.

General Conditions Of Entry:

To assist us in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all members and staff, you are required to abide by the following conditions. Failure to abide by these conditions may result in the suspension or termination of your membership:

Entry:

Entry will be refused or you may be requested to leave the studio if:

  • you are using abusive or threatening language or behaving in a threatening way; or

  • you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol; or

  • you instruct other members when Wellness by PP has not authorised you to do so; or

  • you behave in another way that is considered by Wellness by PP to be risky or seriously inappropriate.

Non-Smoking:

There is strictly no smoking allowed at the Wellness by PP studio.

Dress Code:

Socks are required inside the studio for hygiene purposes. Clothing must be clean and tidy with no offensive prints or designs for the consideration of other members. Exercise clothing is to be worn at all times while inside Wellness by PP premises.

Allowing Us To Use Your Image:

We sometimes film or photograph the classes in the studio. You acknowledge that you may appear in the background of some images. By attending the class and agreeing to these terms and conditions you consent Wellness by PP to use this content for social media or web purposes.

Use Of Equipment:

All equipment is to be cleaned and placed on your mat following each session. It is the instructors responsibility to return the equipment to the storage area. No equipment is to leave Wellness by PP premises.

Valuables:

Hooks and shoe racks are available for members to use. Wellness by PP employees or contractors are not responsible for any loss of, or damage to, personal property from the studio. Wellness by PP recommends that you leave any valuable items at home.
Bags and possessions are not permitted on at the mats for safety reasons.

Membership Obligations:

Membership at Wellness by PP requires you to:
Advise of any changes to your contact details.
Put in writing if you wish to cancel your Studio Membership.
Comply with all Conditions of Entry and the guidelines in these Terms & Conditions.

Pay all agreed fees, ensure sufficient funds are available to cover all fees and advise us in advance if your bank account or credit card is closed or changed.
Inform us in advance if there are any risks to your health if you participate in fitness services and if required seek approval from your Doctor or General Practitioner. Cancel direct debit facilities in respect of your membership when this agreement expires or is terminated.

Timetable:

The Wellness by PP timetable is subject to change.


A different timetable will be provided for School Holidays, Christmas and Easter periods. The studio is closed on Public Holidays.

Cancellation/Termination:

A cancellation request should be emailed to Wellness by PP. The cancellation can only take place after the minimum term of agreement has taken place.
Permanent Sickness or Physical Incapacity:
Wellness by PP requires a medical certificate stating that you cannot utilise any fitness services or facilities because of your permanent illness or physical incapacity.

Membership Freeze:

A membership freeze (suspension of payments) may be possible under the terms of your Membership Agreement. Payments may be frozen for a minimum 1-week and maximum 4-weeks at a time, and a maximum of 4-weeks over the 12-month period. Membership freeze needs to be requested directly to Wellness by PP.

Privacy:

Your “personal information” (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) will only be used by Wellness by PP in accordance with the provision of their Privacy Statements.

COVID-19:

Wellness by PP adheres to all Covid-19 regulations. Members are required to wash or sanitise their hands upon entry, and check into the QR code in the studio.
All mats and equipment are sterilised before and after each use.
Each member agrees to adhere to all regulations implemented by the Victorian Government.
Should the studio be impacted by Covid-19 restrictions, select classes will continue virtually.
