Zenthai Shiatsu at Wellness by PP Warrandyte

1:1 Zenthai Shiatsu

$115/session

This 1:1 Zenthai Shiatsu session, guided by Layla Prates—a seasoned Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner and yoga professional—offers a profound journey into deep restoration.

Over the course of 60 minutes, clients will experience the ancient art of Zenthai, renowned for its ability to release body tension and promote deep fascial release. Layla combines her extensive knowledge of bodywork and mindful movement to facilitate a session that not only addresses physical discomfort but also enhances overall wellbeing.

Through targeted pressure and therapeutic stretches, this personalised experience supports healing, encourages relaxation, and nurtures the body's natural ability to rejuvenate.

Our classes: 

Slow Flow

Wellness by PP Slow Flow classes are light and creative. These classes are a gentler and slower paced Vinyasa class where postures are held for longer periods, and the transitions between poses are a little slower.

The more gentle nature of this class is great for beginners, but is also wonderful for intermediate and advanced students who feel like slowing it down and sinking deeper into their practice. 

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a traditional style of teaching that focuses on Asana (physical movement) and Pranayama (breathing techniques and control). Wellness by PP Hatha classes involve a grounding and warm-up phase, followed by Traditional Yoga poses sequenced together and held for several breaths, and finishes with a guided meditation for Savasana, or relaxation at the end of class.

This style is great for those who want to develop a mindful practice, as well as increasing their strength, flexibility, core and balance.

Hatha Yoga is open to all ages, and to all levels of practice.

Vinyasa Flow

Wellness by PP Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic, flowing sequence of postures consisting of standing, balancing, floor poses, arm balances and inversions. This practice will increase your strength, endurance, balance, focus, flexibility as well as patience.

Some yoga experience preferred for this class, however variations can be made to accommodate most levels. 

Yin Yoga

Wellness by PP Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and calming style of yoga. Poses are held for longer periods of time with a focus on floor-based postures.

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons and fascia) to help improve flexibility and create the feeling of space and freedom in your body.

Energetically, Yin improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles. Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits. 

Suitable for all levels, with variations and modifications offered throughout the class. 

Pilates

Wellness by PP matwork is a flow movement inclusive of a fusion of traditional and contemporary Pilates. Combining strengthening and flexibility training, this 45-minute class is aimed to help activate core strength, improve posture, circulation and flexibility.

We work with breath and the principles of Pilates to strengthen the body from within.

Suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.

Stretch & Tone

A slower-paced 45-minute class incorporating deep stretches and myofascial release. This class is excellent for releasing muscle tightness, injury prevention and to restore postural balance. Additional props such as foam rollers, Pilates rings and tennis balls are used to help loosen the connective tissue (ligaments, tendons and fascia) throughout the session.

Your instructor will guide you through breath work and mindfulness to restore and recharge your mind, body and soul.

Meditation

Wellness by PP meditation is designed for those who need to deeply relax and restore both body and mind.

Stress reduction and anxiety are two of the biggest reasons people practice meditation. Meditation is a process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts to a calmer state. The practice of meditation is also beneficial for increasing mood, stress management, self- discipline and healthy sleep patterns.
